Membership Scholarship

We have a limited number of scholarships that we can offer to new members.

Scholarship Program Eligibility

Basic Eligibility (Must meet all criteria in section)

  • Must be a licensed business in Oregon (active CCB license if contractor).
  • Must be located or primarily operating in Southern Oregon.
  • Must not have held a BASO membership previously.

 

Business Tenure (Must meet one criteria in section)

  • Option A: In business less than 3 years.
  • Option B: Open to startups (pre-revenue, under 12 months in planning phase).
  • Option C: Veteran Owned small business.
  • Option D: Woman owned small business.

 

Workforce Size (Must meet one criteria in section)

  • Fewer than 5 employees.
  • Sole proprietors and family-run businesses.

 

Association Commitment (Optional)

  • Demonstrated commitment to BASO.

 

Scholarship Conditions

  • Scholarship covers first-year membership dues.
  • Membership renewal after year 1 is the responsibility of the business.
